I’ve honestly been living in this super cute and comfy white knit blazer. It’s such an easy piece to throw on that adds texture to my outfits. It looks great with some casual jeans and cute booties, which is my go-to LA winter outfit.

I have been trying to find simple dresses that I can just throw on and still look put together all at the same time! I found this dress on Zara a little while ago and absolutely love the way it feels and how it fits. It ties at the waist and has buttons all the way down the front of the dress. So I might want to style it as a lightweight trench or something in the future! 🙂

The heatwave in Los Angeles is almost unbearable but that just means I need to have MORE ice cream and MORE often! We visited Cauldron Ice Cream in Glendale recently and tried it out for the first time. I love the cute honeycomb waffle cones and how they shape your ice cream into a rose! Talk about presentation, right?! The flavor I got was the Sun, Moon, and Stars which is blend of oolong, green, and jasmine tea.
Because it was scorching that day, I opted for a light t-shirt, linen skirt, sandals, and a hat! Just gotta keep it light and simple on days where I don’t want to try so hard.

Here is my take on a denim-on-denim outfit! Instead of it being one color for the entire outfit, I mixed black denim with blue! I do admire it when people are able to pull off a ‘Canadian tuxedo’, but all of that blue denim may be overwhelming on my petiteness. I paired my jacket with a looser-fit pair of jeans for a relaxed weekend look.

I’ve been on a culotte and wide leg pants kick lately. Mostly because I am often found in jeans, so I’m trying to switch it up a little bit. It’s a little difficult to find pants at the right length, but when I do, I definitely jump on the opportunity. I found these pants and they are an amazing thick material so I don’t worry about my underwear lines showing or my underwear just showing through in general! It’s also in this lovely rust, brown, orangey color that’s so warm and pretty! The elastic cinch at the waist gives me some shape, which can be difficult on my petite frame. Another plus is that they have great big pockets! I paired it with some strappy sandals and a heather grey blouse tucked in.

I just wanted to share some of my favorite skincare products with you so that you could see what I’m loving right now! I try to rotate between these products each day and you’ll notice that some of these bottles look like they’re almost running out. It’s very important for me to take care of my skin and keep it looking healthy as I get older! My musts are to cleanse/wash off makeup each day before I sleep and moisturize. I don’t particularly have sensitive or difficult skin, so I’m grateful for that, but I have moments where it looks dull at times. I notice if I don’t moisturize enough, that’s what happens. NIGHT TIME
Biossance – Squalane + Antioxidant Cleansing Oil – I keep this in the bathroom and use it to wash off my makeup or dirt. It does a great job and is not harsh on my skin.
Dr. Jart+ – Dermaclear Micro Water – I use this with a cotton pad after I wash my face to take off excess makeup or dirt.
Caudalie – Vinoperfect Concentrated Brightening Essence – I pour this into my hands and then pat it into my skin after using the Dr. Jart microwater. It smells really nice and leaves my skin feeling really nice and hydrated.
LANEIGE – Water Sleeping Mask – This is great for a couple nights a week. I’ll put this on after I’ve cleansed my face and just sleep with it on. It’s a light gel that feels really cool and soothing. All you do is wash your face in the morning but it pretty much is absorbed into your skin and leaves it bright and soft.
Biossance – 100% Squalane Oil – I use this on nights when I’m not using the Laneige water sleeping mask. It would be the last thing I put on after my essence.
